Obituary of Sam Bates Jr.

Sam Bates Jr.

April 17th, 1939- August 25th, 2023

Sam is survived by four sons, two daughter in laws,

ten grandchildren and his first great grandchild to

join us soon. Sam served our nation with the

Navy's Fighting Seabees stationed in Rota, Spain.

He was a pilot, entrepreneur, husband, father and 

grandfather. Sam loved the outdoors, working on his

tractor and more than anything flea markets. He will 

be missed dearly by friends and family but we take

solace knowing he is resting peacefully in Heaven.
